He has worked on every level in an FX trading environment office from back office, through FX trading desks to Head of FX, demonstrating risk discipline, leadership, and the market knowledge required to succeed in this environment. He was CEO of The London Academy of Trading, which delivers FX trading training to MSc and MBA level, where he had leadership, strategic and financial accountability, and governance responsibilities. Duncan holds an ACI Dealing Certificate. In the UK, he is an FCA approved person to carry out the controlled function CF30 (Customer Function).

Steve Miley has 27 years of financial market experience and is the founder, Director and Primary Analyst at The Market Chartist. Steve spent 2009-2012 as a Director of the FX Technical Analysis Research Strategy team at Credit Suisse and was previously at Merrill Lynch for 15 years from 1994-2009; 10 years as a technical analyst, 5 years in Fixed Income derivatives sales. He is a Member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA) and holds a Masters Degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford University. He has covered all major asset classes including Rates & Credit, G10 & EM currencies, Equity Indices & Sectors and Commodities and has strong relationships across the institutional financial trading spectrum, including central banks, real money accounts, hedge funds and other financial institutions.

Stephen has worked in the world of finance since 1982 with a wealth of experience from American, British, French, and Japanese institutions to bear in his analytical work. He has a broad client base including Central Banks, Government Ministries, and Sovereign Wealth Funds and from the private sector, Commercial and Investment Banks, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds and Publicly Listed Corporations. Clients have been covered in all geographic regions and time zones embracing 36 nations. He gained his BA (HONS) Economics (II.I) from the University of Warwick in 1982 and his MBA from Henley Management College in 1995. He gained professional examination awards from the Association of International Bond Dealers (Now called the International Capital Markets Association) in 1988, is a member of the Financial Conduct Authority and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Winner of the Technical Analysis Book of the Year 2014, Mapping Your Voyage of Discovery, Shaun Downey is a veteran of the markets and a globally recognized name in the world of Technical Analysis. He began his career in 1979 at age 16 with Rudolf Wolff Commodity brokers. Initially he specialized in Softs and Grains, then moved into the oil market and eventually became head of FX hedging and market making. A switch to Fulton Prebon saw him move into Bond trading and Options, followed by a move to Australia as Global Head of Trading handling interest rate, commodity and currency risk. He has managed various private funds and traded all asset classes including individual stocks. Shaun has been writing a variety of technical analysis commentaries for the professional and retail market since 1991 and mentors his customer base who use his unique methods, based on his first book Trading Time: New Methods in Technical Analysis published in 2006. He spent 20 years at CQG where he had the unique opportunity to learn, create and test all things technical and brings a wealth of experience having met thousands of traders in dealing rooms around the world.

Alex achieved his BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Washington with over 10 years of working experience across various operational roles at Microsoft. Since moving to the U.K. in 2008, he began his financial career by achieving a Distinction Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading with focus on technical analysis across various asset types including G10 currencies, major Equity Indices and Commodities. His 3-years role as a Trade Mentor with the London Academy of Trading has given him insight as a technical analyst with strong focus on risk management and firm understanding of global macroeconomics. With education and working background spanning across Hong Kong, Taiwan, U.S. and U.K., Alex values his experiences as a global citizen.

Dr. Wei SHI started her career at Deloitte as a due diligence analyst, where she found her interest in financial modelling and valuation, so she joined Duff and Phelps as a valuations analyst. Before joining Kylin Prime Capital as a Fund Manager, she worked at AON’s corporate development team focusing on global M&A projects. Dr. Wei SHI is a CFA charter holder. Dr. Wei SHI earned her PhD in Economics and Finance at the University of Bath with full scholarship.
